Anyone know where someone could learn to make their own indicators and such? Basically how to use meta editor.

http://www.metaquotes.net/experts/mql4/ has some basic information. MQL4 is a bit like C/C++ so if you know those languages, MQL4 is very easy to understand.

but i think it's better and easier to find other's system, and try it to fit our trade...

but to build an indicator, we must understand what we are building right...?
exp : how to calculate pivot points if we want to get a pivot indicator...

There are samples in metatrader folders, look in experts\ for sample experts and \experts\indicators\ for sample indicators. You can start learning how to build from the given sources.

As for specific indicators, i.e. what to build, you have to go to somewhere else. investopedia website has simple descriptions of many popular indicators.

Thanks for the link fireflies, this is what i need if i want to create a simple indicator for a newbie like, not just modify an indicator, like what i do all of this time...
