No, only by request. Imagine that you can change your profile information...for example in your bank...online...

If you can change your profile online, so for example someone can send Troyan on your computer, get acces to e-mail , get Login and Password to account, change details and send withdrawal to account he need.

For security reason, this change is purposely made not easy.
If anybody can change everything then there is no tight security and mingt be lead to security and money breach.
Anyway.. i'm co0l with sending email... haha
Better spend some time to send an email, than spend time investigating where the money gone
Sometimes.... more money is loss due to payment / claims to investigate... not worthwhile...
Better yet... preventive is better.
