Pending order

e.g. current price is at 1.3060

Let say I forecasted that the price will drop to 1.3015 before it start bullish again.

If I want to do pending order;

Should I;

(a). Set Buy Stop at price 1.3020, with S/L 1.2000, and T/P 1.2030 or

(b). Set Buy Limit at price 1.3020, with S/L 1.2000, and T/P 1.2030.

Which one is correct?
What happen if i execute item (a)?

You should set BUY LIMIT with S/L below 1.3020 and take profit over 1.3020 (S/L and T/P should be different for minimum 10 pips from orders price)

actually while you put wrong pending order, the platform will not accept it,
if you put your take profit or stop loss less than 10 pips.
platform will refuse,
if you put buy limit and the right order it buy stop, the plat form will not accept order except in the right way,

Dear Sir,

This morning around 7am, (Malaysian time GMT +8) I made a pending order(no: 228345); sell stop usd/jpy at price 118.81. However it was not executed.

Kindly clarify why is it so... Else I sure get 10pips just now..

how if the mistake taken us to have a margin call? can our deposit be back?

Well, I thing the stop means when the price stops on a certain level, and limit when it PASSES a certain level.... Maybe that was the problem???
